I have posted previously about the Farmer's Market here in Kuwait, it's very impressive and honestly about time we got more options in our market. What impressed me even more is the very important statement this farmer has inserted on his labels, "Grown in organic soil, temporarily NOT organic"

For someone to post such a visible disclaimer makes me more comfortable buying from tem, as they just gained my trust with their open honesty. I have come across various articles stating that organic farming can only be achieved if you rehabilitate the soil to its organic form, something that could take years to achieve.

Just like it is the case in the USA, Kuwait definitely has relaxed regulations about what you can claim on a label, and so many companies say they farm organically when that isn't the case. I am very happy with Yasmin Farms, they have expanded so much in a few months and they are surely making our lives better.
