Our first visit in Dubai was to the Wild Wadi Waterpark, over the years I heard a lot of great reviews about it, and although I knew it was old, I felt that I needed to experience it. My judgment of quality usually happens when I see the entrance fee’s, and after my online research I felt it would be still well maintained.
I was right, and wrong! The waterpark was well maintained, the rides and toddler pool were great given the lifespan they had, but everything else was a disaster. The park was overcrowded; there was very limited space, no beds available, the pool area was crammed, and no place to sit.
I ended up sitting at a restaurant table “guarding” our stuff while my husband took the kids to try out the rides. When it was time to eat, the options were: hotdogs, fried chicken, burgers, fried corndogs… not only were they horrible options, they tasted worse (the fried chicken tasted like oil, not food).
This is a very short review, as I do not recommend you visit this park, especially not with kids. It felt unsanitary, I didn’t even feel like taking pictures.
